Open House
- Attend 3 open houses hosted by Acquisto Real Estate and just see how the agent does it all. ask questions as if you have a buyer for the home and you are the agent.
- Attend 3 open houses not hosted by Acquisto Real Estate agents and do the same.– let them know it is practice.
- Host 5 open houses for other agents at ARE– get them from Monday’s open house exchange on TNT.
Design Selections
Visit with 2 builder supply showrooms and see how the process works. Share results with your mentor. They may be the ones at some of the builders above.
Stone Yard
Go visit 3 local stone yards. See how the process of buying works. Know where they are and how your clients could buy or hire contractors to use the supplies to update their homes.
Pool Builders
Contact a few local pool builders and see the process of building a pool for a client. Get detailed and see samples and know pricing and timelines.
Contractors
Call and schedule meetings with the following contractors to establish relationships and see how much things cost to fix and what are timelines in the market: electrician, hvac technician, plumbing, weekly lawn care, tree removal service– arborists, lawn fertilizer, pest control, house cleaning– make ready and weekly cleaning, painter, title guy, granite service, carpet installer, sprinkler repair person, roofer, concrete installer, trash removal, general handyman, fence repair/replacement, exterior calking– probably painter,
Landscaping
Go to and compare pricing and planting of trees, shrubs, seasonal plants from 3 local sources. See if you do the work yourself or if they do it. Discuss some common make ready jobs they have done for clients listing their homes soon. Know pricing and timelines, both big and small.
